Darlene Cypser is an attorney living in Colorado. She became an avid follower of Sherlock Holmes when she was in high school
and she attended the Hudson Valley Sciontists in her teens and returned for their 40th Anniversary. Since then she has corresponded with a number
of Sherlockians around the world. She is a member, and former Chief Surgeon, of Dr. Watson's Neglected Patients in Denver, as well
as a member of the Hounds of the Internet. All three are scions of the Baker Street Irregulars of New York.
Darlene's first contact with the Baker Street Irregulars was an exchange of correspondence with Dr. Julian Wolff in the 1970s.
He refer her to the Hudson Valley Sciontists. Since then she has attended some Sherlock Holmes Birthday Weekends in New York City. She has had three papers published by the
Baker Street Journal: "Barker, The Hated Rival," (1985) "A Capital Mistake: An Apocryphal Rebuttal," (1988) and
"Adventures in Copyright" (2014).
In addition to The Consulting Detective series of books, Darlene has written a number of short stories that she hopes some day
to publish in a collection. She also has published a number of legal and academic papers and articles.
